Introduction TO SZX10 Research Stereo Microscope
The SZX10 microscope is the logical choicewhen large working distance and field size are important. Our lens system isdesigned so users can observe and document samples in their original, authenticcolors without distortion. With ergonomic components, such as longer eye tubes, users maintain a natural posture while using the microscope.
1、Reliability andRepeatability
● Control Knobs Capable of Quick Inspection
Zoom knob with click-stop
With a wide zoom range of 0.63x to 6.3x,users can observe samples at a range of magnifications without having to switchobjective lenses. A specially designed dual objective holder with axial detentfurther extends the range of possible magnifications. The axial light pathsetting ensures that measurements taken with the camera are reliable andprecise in all directions making results independent from the orientation ofthe sample under the microscope.
Since many imaging and measuring tasks require the use of the same zoommagnification setting to ensure consistent and comparable results, theintegrated 11-position click-stop makes it easy to record and reproduce zoomsettings.
●Superior Performance from a Choice of 8Interchangeable Objectives
Lineup of Objective Lenses
DFPL2x/DPFL1.5x /DFPL 0.75x /DFPL 0.5x
The DFPL series of objectives accurately reproduce sample shapes withoutstanding color fidelity.
DFPLAPO 1.25x /DFPLAPO1x4
Aprochromatically corrected to achieve the highest degree of performance.Excellent resolving power, contrast, and image flatness with minimumdistortion.
SZX-ACH1.25x /SZX-ACH1x
Well-balanced objectives that combines high resolving power with long workingdistance.
2、VersatileIllumination Solutions
●Stands and Illumination Units
Low-profile LED Illumination Base
The Olympus SZX series features the uniqueOlympus LED base system for fine control of transmitted illumination andbright, even images. With the ultra-slim 40 mm base, the SZX2 series has theergonomic stage height available. Moreover, a novel carousel makes iteasy to select and control brightfield, darkfield, and oblique illumination. The long-life LEDs do not heat the stage or sample, greatly enhancing the flexibilityfor material stereo microscopy.
●Selectable Reflected Light IlluminationLineup
Versatile reflected illumination unitsincluding the ring light illuminator and coaxial illuminator. Choose theillumination system based on your specific application requirements.
4-Segment LED Ring-Light Illuminator
Adjustable Dual Mounted Combination
Coaxial Illuminator for HighlyReflective Samples
3、IntelligentDigital Imaging
● High Performance Cameras
With the SZX10 you will want to document orshow live digital views of your sample. By utilizing a trinocular head andmoving the objective in the axial imaging pathway a perpendicular view of thesample is obtained. Attaching the Olympus DP cooled digital camera produces avery flexible imaging station. This is designed for high resolutiondocumentation (up to 17.3 mega pixels) as well as high-speed imaging for liveviews. The advanced interface enables excellent color reproduction and novisible color shifts during sample movement.
● Image Analysis Software
OLYMPUS Stream imaging softwareoffers all the tools required to undertake simple 2D measurements throughcomplex analysis in an easy to use environment and supports a multitude ofoperations including observation, report generation, database creation, andarchiving. The SZX10 motorized focus drive makes digital documentationefficient and fully automatic with extended focal imaging (EFI). EFI enablesusers to easily create pseudo-3D images.
Olympus offers a complete line up ofdigital cameras and analysis/measurement software. Your Olympus representativewill help you choose which products best meet your requirements.
4、Work Comfortably andProductively
● Natural Posture, Reduced Stress, andIncreased Productivity
The ergonomic long tilting trinocular providesan optimized work position by bringing the microscope closer to the user whilethe extendable eyepoint adjuster provides flexibility for users of differentheights. The SZX series’ ergonomic instruments reduce stress during observationby providing the most comfortable position for each user, increasing workefficiency.
● Convergence Angle in Tube RelievesEyestrain
Olympus research established a correlationbetween stereo microscope optical systems and eyestrain. Certain convergenceangles between the left and right optical paths can cause discomfort. The SZX2series is designed with a convergence angle that completely compensates foreach optical path. This solution effectively eliminates eyestrain, even duringprolonged observation.
● Ergonomic Zoom and Focus Knobs forFatigue-free Use
The position of the zoom knob, size andposition of the coarse/fine focusing knob, and the fine focus stroke aredesigned for easy operation. The enhanced fine focus stroke results in easy andprecise focusing.
● Slim Design Illumination Stand for EasyAccess to Samples
Illumination stands are designed to be easyto use and fatigue-free. The slim LED transmitted light illumination stand, atapproximately 40 mm in height, features easily adjustable fingertipillumination control and provides easy access to samples.
